Architect Jean Nouvel is not only a Pritzker prize winner he also built the “Philharmonie de Paris“. After that he was asked to do something a little bit out of his ordinary. He was asked to design a speaker for the recording and mastering studio of the same building he just designed. The speaker was called Philharmonia and it was developed in cooperation with renowned French manufacturer Amadeus.
The team of creative architect Jean Nouvel and engineer Michael Deluc created a very exceptional speaker. The speakers are combining innovative technology with high end monitoring. It is a perfect combination of design and function. The speaker itself consists of a curved body. The upper part was constructed with 547 wood veneers which creates a very nice texture and also sound.
