The new grooming brand Journeymen from California wants to revolutionize the way we think about deodorant with a unique new line of products, using only natural ingredients and modern scents. During a conversation between two friends, founders Brandon Rich and Sean Donovan, one admitted he had recently been accused of smelling like cheap drug store deodorant.
This inspired them to transform the overlooked category into an essential product in every guy’s dopp kit and start their own brand, Journeymen. A men’s body-care brand designing premium products, better for humans and the earth. Using modern fragrances distilled from natural ingredients and simple formulas, the products offer a subtle yet masculine feel.
The first product launched by the company is Fragrance No. 1 and it’s currently available in two versions, a deodorant stick and a spray. In terms of scent, the top note is cypress leaf, while the background is smoky red cedar. And no aluminum or parabens can be found on the list of ingredients, bringing more peace of mind. The packaging is elegant and minimalist, for a more masculine appearance.
The deodorant is made in the US, and to keep in line with the green manufacturing approach, the company donates 1% of the sales to the 1% For The Planet organization. The two deodorants from Journeymen are priced at $18 USD and online available.
