The new Beoplay A1 is the smallest Bluetooth speaker to date from B&O PLAY. Designed for life on the go by award-winning designer Cecilie Manz, it fits comfortably into the palm of your hand and packs a punch well beyond its size. Taking their inspiration from the brand’s earlier and larger A2, the Beoplay A1 is a durable disc made from aluminum and polymer that combine to create one serious piece of audio tech. To protect all the components, the dome is fused with a double molded polymer base, so that the surface appears uniform and smooth. As part of the ultra-portable design, the Beoplay A1 has no buttons or switches.
With Beoplay A1 we have pushed the boundaries of the ultra-portable speaker category and empowered people to take powerful sound and beautiful design anywhere they choose.
Inside the smooth exterior are 2 x 30W and 2 x 140W drivers and amplifiers that produce a wide and spacious 360 degree soundstage. It also boasts an aluminum core subwoofer to give you a bass extension worthy of a speaker twice its size. On a full battery, the A1 will provide you with a full 24 hours of audio playback. Once you’ve run out of battery simply plug it into a USB-C charger and it’ll be ready to go before you know it. The speaker comes with a leather strap that makes it easy to take everywhere, whether people choose to attach it to a backpack or hang it up at home.
The new Beoplay A1 from B&O PLAY is available now in moss green and natural colorways for $250 USD.
