The Venice-based innovative, upstart men’s grooming brand Dollar Shave Club started out as a subscription razor service, but over the past couple of years the brand has been expanding its line up. Now they launched Boogie’s – a new line of hair styling products including gel, clay, cream, fiber and paste. With pomade arriving this summer.
Keeping its promise to help men live better lives through high-quality personal care products, content and technology, Dollar Shave Club will feature the collection alongside a specially designed tool to help men select their ideal product and a full satisfaction “Hairantee.” With Boogie’s, Dollar Shave Club takes its next step towards owning the men’s bathroom.
Dollar Shave Club founder and CEO Michael Durbin said that customers’ frustration with men’s grooming prompted the company’s expansion into the category. “Many men are getting their recommendations from friends who can have completely different hair types and needs, or they have to choose from a bewildering array of in-store options,” he said in a statement. “With Boogie’s, we hold your hand through the entire process and make sure you’re getting the right product for you.”
To help members identify their perfect hair product, Dollar Shave Club is launching “Boogie’s Match,” a personalized product finder. “Boogie’s Match” takes members through a series of hair-styling questions to create a recommendation detailing which Boogie’s product is best for them. And if the product still isn’t satisfactory, the Boogie’s “Hairantee” will ship a full-size replacement option at no additional cost.
